J -- MAINTENANCE SERVICE OF A FUEL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM PROVIDING FUEL TO THE UNINTERRUPTED POWER SUPPLY (UPS) AND EMERGENCY GENERATORS DUE 050399 POC Debra Albrecht, Contract Specialist, (703) 607-6865 or Contracting Officer, Nancy Dydak, (703) 607-6909 The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) intends to award a contract modification with Fakouri Electrical Engineering (FEE), Inc., 2681 B Dow Avenue, Tustin, CA 92680, for additional per-call maintenance services of the UPS and emergency generators. The work will take place at DISA Headquarters in Arlington, VA under contract DCA100-96-C-0021. These services include: the demolition of the existing Diesel Fuel Distribution System (DFDS) and, the design, fabrication, and test of a new DFDS for the emergency back-up and UPS generator system. The DFDS loop also serves the two existing duel-feed boilers. This effort shall include demolition, design, fabrication and test of this segment of the existing DFDS loop. Under DCA100-96-C-0021 FEE has the ultimate responsibility for continuity of power support to HQ DISA critical power load and to use another contractor could potentially void all warranties and contractor liabilities.
