The Albuquerque ARea Indian Health Service will be soliciting proposals from prospective contractors for providing Mental Health Services to patients who receive general medical care at the Taos/Picuris Health Center, Taos, New Mexico. The contractor will be required to provided services at the clinic site or within the Taos and Picuris Pueblo Communities. Contracts will be awarded to multiple providers for a total of 2496 hours. Hours will be divided among the contractors. Contracts will be awarded for a base year with four, one-year options for renewal. A written statement must be provided, if a prospective contractor has ever been arrested or charged with a crime involving a child. A written description of the disposition of the arrest or charge must also be provided. The following responsibility factors must be met: Contract provider must be licensed by the State of New Mexico as a Mental Health Therapist/Counselor in order to provide the required services, must have experience providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults for a minimum of five years, must have graduated with honors from an accredited university or college with studies in psychology.
