The Commission on Mental Health Services (CMHS), District of Columbia, through the ADP Acquisitions Branch, Program Support Center, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to acquire comprehensive Business Office Functions and Automated Data Processing Facility Management Services functions to support its clinical and administrative activities. CMHS plans and provides publicly funded mental health services to the citizens of DC. There are approximarely 7,500 clients of which 6,500 are outpatients and 1,000 are inpatients. Inpatient services are provided at Saint Elizabeths Hospital in South East DC. Outpatient services are provided at nine (9) locations for adults and fourteen (14) locations for children at various sites throughout the city. Currently, services are being provided on a month-to-month basis by HBO & Company of Atlanta, Georgia. CMHS is seeking one prime contractor to provide both business office operations functions and automated data processing facility management services, including enhancement, for all its components at all locations within DC. The anticipated period of performance is a Basic period of twelve (12) months and four twelve (12) month Option periods.
