71 -- ESD CERTIFIED STORAGE CABINETS, ACCESSORIES, AND REPAIR BENCH TABLE TOPS NOTICE OF INTENT: The 55th Contracting Office, Offutt AFB< NE, intends to issue a sole-source purchase order under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Stanley Storage Systems of Allentown, PA. For the acquisition of Electro-Static Discharge certified benches, cabinet and accessories and table tops. A market survey was conducted by the 97TH IS/LGNJ and no other manufacturers were found that meet ESD requirements and specifications and are able to integrate with the existing benches and cabinets. There are four sets of various cabinets, drawers, benches and table tops. This is not a request for quotation or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response hereto will not be honored or acknowledged. All timely responses will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not it is advantageous for the government to conduct a competitive procurement; no award will be made on the basis of any response to the notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon response to this notice is solely with the discretion of the government.
