The Low Security Correctional Institution Allenwood, located in Allenwood, Pennsylvania, has a requirement for a Bi-Lingual Program Instructor for a twelve month base period and four twelve month option periods. The contractor shall provide the required instruction necessary for students to pass the General Educational Development (GED) examination. Instruction must be provided in both English and Spanish. The contractor provided instructor will also be required to develop a curriculum and daily lesson plans for this instruction. The minimum requirements for performing as a Bi-Lingual Program Instructor include the submission of a copy of a Bachelor's degree in the field of Education; a current teaching certificate and/or certified teaching experience of more than one year at the college or university level; the ability to speak, read and write Spanish; and three letters of reference from individuals in the Education field.
