The project begins at the junction of the Grand Targhee and Teton Canyon Roads just inside the Targhee Forest boundary, about 2 1/2 miles east of the Idaho State line near Alta, Wyoming. It extends along the entire 4.6 miles of the Teton Canyon Road to its end at the trailhead. Estimated start work date is August 1, 1999, with a completion time of 75 days.
