The project consists of new construction of a campground loop in the Crags Campground system. This loop will have 20 new paved spurs with paved trails to concrete pads (wood picnic table, pedestal grill, and fire ring shall be included in each), 2 precast concrete comfort stations (each having 2-stools), a water system and camp host facility. The entrance road into this spur will be a double lane paved road approx. 1/4 mile long. All signs, gates, and striping will be included. The project is located from Bridgeport, CA, head west on FH 135, Twin Lakes road, approx. 10 miles to FR 044, take this road about 1/2 mile to the Crags CG junction. The est. start date is 7/12/99 with 360 calendar days for completion. The est. price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
