This solicitation will be issued on an unrestrictive basis in accordance with DOD FAR clause 252.219-7008. Replies are requested from all concerns as well as large business concerns. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Work includes but is not limited to a complete HVAC renovation for this facility. The majority of existing system will be replaced with the exception of the supply air ductwork and hot water reheat piping. The existing ductwork and piping shall remain in place with only minor modifications. The return air ductwork located in the crawl space shall be removed and replaced. Existing return air ductwork risers located in wall cavities shall be re-used and reconnected to the new ductwork. Major mechanical components such as chillers, air-handling unit, terminal re-heat units, exhaust fans, pumps, and other components shall be removed and replaced. Bid option #1 will include replacing allceiling tiles with new. Electrical modifications to support the HVAC renovations and the installation of a new fire alarm system shall be performed at Seymour Johnson AFB NC 27531.
