The Test Article Preparation Department, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland has a requirement for 22 Fluid Parameter Calibration Standards (FPCS). The FPCS shall be a high accuracy and high-resolution standard for the measurement and simultaneous display of Fluid Temperature, Fluid Pressure, and Fluid Flow. The Fluid under measurement is Polyalphaolefin (PAO), a coolant fluid distributed by Royal Lubricants Company Inc. The FPCS will be used as a standard predominantly in the Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) as an external FPCS standard to calibrate the Fluid Flow measurement standards and Support Equipment (SE) embedded in the High Power Device Test Set Liquid Cooling Console CASS Part Number: 3528AS300-01. The FPCS will be used on board ships, in laboratories, and on-site for calibration of CASS. The FPCS shall be a stand-alone unit and shall operate independent of CASS if required for other measurement requirements in the DOD calibration community. The solicitation for this commercial items requirement is being prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6. Delivery of all items is required to be made within 120 days of contract award to the Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, MD. A Firm Fixed Price contract type is anticipated. This requirement is being procured as a 100% small business set-aside; the appropriate SIC code is 3829 (size standard of 500 employees).
