October 01, 1999 through September 30, 2001. Requirements Type
Contract, Fixed Price with Economic Price Escalation, is contemplated.
Some Quantities may be set-aside for small business participation only
and small disadvantaged businesses may be afforded preferential
consideration in accordance with implementing regulations. The
solicitation mechanism is a Request For Proposal; however, the
government advises that it intends to award requirements on initial
offers without negotiaitons. Nonetheless, the government reserves the
right to negotiate if deemed in its best interest. All proposals shall
be submitted most favorably to the government from a price and
technical standpoint. Lastly, the government may use best value source
selection in evaluating offers from a price and technical standpoint.
