Business Area of the US Army TACOM-TARDEC in Warren, MI is requesting
expressions of interest from industries and organizations that are able
to develop or produce Hoseline Outfit. The hoseline outfit is a
cross-country 4 inch hoseline bulk fuel distribution system. The
components of the hoseline outfit shall have the capability of
traversing all type of terrain, be deployed over obstacles over 200
feet in length, control the flow of fuel, and evacuate the system after
use. The system shall include a mechanical means of deploying and
recovering the hose with a minimum of operator input. A standard 350
gallon per minute (gpm) diesel engine driven pumping assembly is used
to move fuel through the system. The hoseline outfit shall consist of
all components required to deploy, operate, and recover a 4-inch
cross-country petroleum hoseline. This shall include but not be limited
to 13,000 ft of 4-inch hose, a pump assembly (government furnished
equipment), mechanical deployment /recovery system, flow control
devices, gap and road crossing devices, and environmental protection
and recovery kit. Detail descriptions on each component can be found in

possible. This will give us a better idea of your products and
innovative ideas. In addition, provide any general drawings, diagrams,
or brochures that would assist in describing your products or ideas.

getting a questionnaire or the purchase description if it is not
possible to read this document, or if you have any questions. This is
an important opportunity for you to influence the solicitation
provisions and contract clauses, our budget requests, and the full
range of other elements supporting the acquisition strategy for this
program. Ultimately we may award a contract for approximately 164
units. The U.S. Army will retain all information and documentation
provided. The effort you expend and information you submit in response
to this request shall be provided at no cost to the Government. Any
information submitted under this effort will become property of the
