313-6468 The Defense Intelligence Agency/Missile and Space Intelligence
Center (DIA/MSIC)intents to award the following Digital Processing
Position to Practical Imgineering, Inc. of Fairfax Virginia:
Specifications include: Interface; the system shall accept digital
input from an Alliant Techsystems ADARIO formatter. Output shall be
analogy demodulated AM/FM/PM/AM log data suitable for digitization by
a Balogh-Schnohofer Model 100/12 digitizer. Integration; The contractor
shall integrate all devices into an analysis position for data recorded
on a Sony DIR-100W digital recorder using an Alliant Techsystems ADARIO
formatter. Physical Enclosures: the contractor shall provide equipment
racks to house the system as well as required 120VAC power strips,
device shelves, blank panels and mounting hardware. The contractor
shall determine device layout and cabling requirements and provide any
required cable routing fixtures. Signal Distribution; The contractor
shall design interconnections and provide the required cabling for the
routing of digital signals between digital devices. Documentation: The
contractor shall produce and deliver documentation on the integrated
system. Training: The contractor shall provide device and system
specific materials on the operation and use of the system and provide
on site training for up to 15 MSIC Analyst. Installation; The
contractor shall deliver the system to the DIA Missile & Space
Intelligence Center, Building 4505 Martin Road, Redstone Arsenal,
Alabama 35898-5500. The Government will provide the following equipment
for integration into the system: Apcom Inc. LOOKING GLASS Base Unit,
Practical Imagineering Inc. LOOKING GLASS Display Modules and Radix
Technologies Inc. 1010A Digital Switch. This acquisition is directed
towards Practical Imagineering Inc. because they are the only known
source. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be
considered. All proposals must be submitted no later than 14 May 1999
to be considered and must include sufficient technical literature. All
proposals shall be addressed to: DIA/Missile and Space Intelligence
