S. Department of Energy, is seeking expressions of interest from companies to provide aluminide coatings to the inside surface of "316" stainless steel cladding tubes (approximately 13 feet in length) for use in a commercial nuclear reactor. The aluminide coatings may be produced by a number of standard industrial methods. This work will require a potential offeror to possess a quality program consistent with the requirements defined in 10CFR50 Appendix B. Interested firms are advised this work will involve classified matter. Appropriate facility and personnel security clearances will be required prior to performance of work associated with classified matter. In addition, the successful offeror must be able to obtain a favorable Foreign Ownership, Control or Influence determination.
