A minimum of one (1) and a maximum of ten (10) spare MH-60K Aerial Refueling Probes, Part Number 70200-74022-045, with the modification kit described in Sikorsky proposal SPB 03750 installed. The probes shall be delivered one per month starting 14 months after award of the contract. The probes shall be shipped to: Commander, 160th SOAR(A), Building #7262, Attn: CW4 Garcia, Fort Campbell, KY 42223; Mark For: MH-60K Aerial Refueling probes. The period of performance is estimated to be 50 months from the date of contract award. Authority and Justification is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed acquisition requires use of the the cited statutory authority because the supplies/services are only available from one responsible source. The proposed contract is: United Technology Corporation, Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, 6900 Main Street, P.O. Box 9729, Stratford, CT 06497-9129, is the sole manufacturer of the MH-60K Aerial Refueling Probes. The probes were procured from Sikorsky under the contract DAAJ09-91-G-0030 and USZA95-96-D-0014. Sikorsky retains the propriety data rights to all data required to perform this effort. No other contractor has the in-depth knowledge or expertise to produce the probes within time and funding constraints. Other firms that can produce the item(s) described above are encouraged to identify themselves to the contracting officer who can provide additional information regarding the qualification requirements.
