synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with
the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional
information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the
only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written
solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number,
N66001-99-R-0032, is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). The
solicitation document, incorporated provisions and clauses regarding
this contract are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular
97-11. The center is seeking to procure one commercial off the shelf
non-developmental Instrument Landing System (ILS) (CLIN 0001)containing
the following parts: 1 each Localizer system with 8 element antenna
array/ 1 each Distance Measuring Equipment system with antenna/ 2 each
ILS equipment shelters (8'x12'),60 Hz, FAA approved/ 1 each remote
status monitor receiver system/ 1 each Portable Maintenance Data
Terminal (PMDT)/ 1 each full set of system spares. The system must be
able to be FAA depot supported under AAC-229. Delivery of complete
system is due 31 Dec 99. The provision at Federal Acquisition
Regulation (FAR) 52.212-1 applies to this acquisition. Proposals will
be evaluated on a technically acceptable low cost basis. Contractors
are to submit their best commercial warranty with their proposal. The
contractor shall deliver two sets of technical manuals. The SIC code
for this acquisition is 3812.Offerors must include a completed copy of
the provision at FAR 52.212-3 with their offer. FAR clause 52.212-4,
Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this
acquisition. Far clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions
Required To Implement Status or Execute Orders-Commercial Items,
applies to this acquisition. Offerers must submit FAA FAR part 171
approval certification letter with their proposal. All offers must be
