This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses identified in FAR Subpart 12, FAC 97-3, as required. Standard Industrial Classification is 3412 and 500 employees size standard. This acquisition is set aside for small business concerns. This is a firm-fixed price procurement using Commercial Procedures. This procurement is for four (4) internal airlift/helicopter slingable containers, which may be used to store and transport equipment and supplies. This item is also referred to as an ISU 90EO Cadillac Bin. AAR Cadillac Manufacturing part number: 52121 or equal. The National Stock Number is 8145-01-384-7123. The container shall have the following features and capabilities:  The size shall be 88_wide, 108_long, and 90_high.  The cargo capacity shall be 5,000 pounds unrestrained and 1,000 pounds restrained.  The maximum tare rate shall be 1840 pounds.  The container shall have 400 sable cubic feet.  The door shall open on 88_ side.  Winchling rings shall be provided.  The container shall be completely intermodal and provide weather resistant storage.  The container shall provide double security provisions for high value items.  The container shall be certified for helicopter external lift and for transport on Air Mobility Command Transport Aircraft  The container shall be liftable with a two-way forklift containing standard 10,000 lb. fork trucks (72_ lines).  The container shall be two-high stackable when loaded.
