The General Services Administration (GSA) follow-on requirement for telecommunication equipment for use in Wide Area Network augmentation and expansion IS EXTENDED ONE DAY. THE NEW DUE DATE IS APRIL 30, 1999 re the GSA contemplated issuance of either an open market order in the form of a contract under auspices of FAR Part 12.6, Commercial Items purchases, or a delivery order against a GSA schedule as the result of this solicitation. THE EXTENSION IS NECESSARY TO CLARIFY THE FOLLOWING POINTS: The CLIN Part Numbers are clarified in part as follows. CLIN 006 is part number WS-C5507. CLIN 007 is part number WS-C5508. CLIN 009 is part number WS-X5111. CLIN 011 is part number MEM-RSM-FLC16M. CLIN 012 is RSM-128M-UPGD, but MEM-RSM-128M is also correct. Both part numbers are the same item. CLIN 013 is part number WS-X5530-E3. CLIN 015 Integration Services are required as specified. Contractor must protect the items so that damage does not occur in transit. Any hidden damage on receipt must be corrected by thecontractor under terms of their warranty clause. A warranty is required equal to the original manufacturer. The due date for offers is extended for one day, the period of time it took to respond to the questions above. No further extensions will be allowed.
