These scanners shall be procured on a sole source basis with Altek Corporation or Altek stocking distributors pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 since this particular model of scanner is the only scanner capable of satisfying the National Imagery and Mapping Agency's requirement for large-scale map scanning. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that will be considered by the FISC. The Government will not pay for information received. The applicable standard industrial code number is 5045.
