Administrative Support Center (WASC) intends to acquire research
services in support of the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS)
Auke Bay Laboratory. This procurement is a continuation of research
program of the North Pacific Anadromous Fish Commission (NPAFC). The
necessary personnel, materials, equipment, etc., shall be provided to
perform scale pattern analyses to determine-origins of salmonids;
update the historical salmon-tagging data files on record; exert effort
to recover high seas tags from North American inshore fisheries; and
support the cooperative U.S./Canadian/Japanese/Russian scientific
studies of salmon carrying capacity around the North Pacific Ocean and
Bering Sea. Concerns conducting similar work for other INPFC-member
nations are determined to have organization conflict of interest for
this procurement and will not be considered eligible to compete under
this solicitation. The period of performance is for one (1) base year
with four (4) additional option years. SIC Code is 8731 and the size
standard is 500 employees. Award will be subject to the availability of
