to contact the contracting officer via, Lynn.Evans@gsa.gov. Provide all
necessary labor, parts, supplies, tools, materials, services, equipment
and supervision to complete Preventative Maintenance of building
equipment. Contractor is expected to schedule work on item(s) of
equipment or system(s) required to provide continuing operation, in
order to preclude unnecessary breakdowns and to prolong the life of
equipment or systems. Preventative maintenance includes but not limited
to : greasing, oiling, adding or removing refrigerant, changing filters
(liquid or air), cleaning (mechanical and chemical), adjusting,
installing or replacing any missing or worn out belts, cabinet or
components bolts, washers, nuts, screws or fasteners, removing rust,
touch up painting of all surfaces including those surfaces which
require painting after rust has been removed, and replacing any other
expendable items. Rust removal and touch up painting that is completed
as part of Preventive Maintenance is to be limited to a maximum of 100
square feet of surface area, per maintenance item. Posted 04/27/99
