NON-COMPETITIVE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE NOTIVICATION 1. This serves as "notice of intent" to non-competitively award a Financial Assistance Grant to the Miamisburg Mound Community Improvement Corporation (MMCIC), to make necessary capital improvements to the Mound site to make the site a marketable commercial entity. 2. This activity is necessary for the satisfactory completion of, and is a continuation of an activity presently being funded by DOE. Competition for support would have a significant adverse effect on the completion of the activity. 3. This activity will also be conducted by the MMCIC using its own resources or those donated or provided by third parties as "matching funds" to the DOE financial support of the activity. 4. In accordance with 10 CFR 600.6(c),(1)and(2), this award has been determined to be in the best intersts of the DOE.
