This is a new Performance Based Procurement utilizing best value commercial item procedures as set forth in FAR Part 12 for the purchase of custodial services for McConnell AFB, Wichita, KS. This solicitation is available only on the internet at http://www.eps.gov. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of the RFP and amendments (if any) and the offeror is responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP and amendments. The performance period is one year (base) with the possibility of four (4) option years, with an anticipated start date of 01 October 1999. The SIC code is 7349 and the applicable size standard is $ 12 million. This procurement is a competitive 8(a) set-aside for the Wichita, Kansas SBA district only. Potential sources are encouraged to provide input as to both how they would recomment dhanges to make this requirement more commercial, and in turn how they might contract for subject services.
