The Tennessee Army National Guard has a requirement for training in support of their aviation maintenance and technical supply operations at various facilities throughout the state. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code for this requirement is 8249. Performance shall begin NLT 5 days after award of contract. Training will be conducted "On-site". The training objective will be to increase the students' effectiveness in production control and technical supply operations through expert, on-site training tailored to the specific needs of each student/organization. The end objective is to produce experienced technicians with the knowledge necessary to perpetuate successful production control and technical supply operations for the organization. The Contractor will provide training in sufficient depth to allow the technicians to understand techniques and methods of applying appropriate regulations and tailored procedures. Contractor will assist in the development and implementation of a procedural guide for future reference. Training should include unique techniques/methods not included in standard field manuals. Content of the courses shall include, but is not limited to, tailoring associated procedures to improve efficiency and economy, resulting in less aircraft down time (improved readiness) and to a degree, improved, aircraft reliability. Offerors will be required to submit resumes of potential instructors. Instructors must have extensive experience and demonstrated proficiency in the maintenance, repair, and maintenance management, of various types of army aircraft at AVIM and AVUM levels. Training will include extensive follow up and "on-site" practical application of all training topics. Firms interested in this requirement should request a copy of the solicitation in writing.
