The Ohio Air National Guard, 180th Fighter Wing, Base Contracting Office, 2660 S. Eber Road, Swanton, Ohio is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) for the lease of 5 alpha-numeric Nationwide/Global pagers with 1-800 phone numbers and 22 regional numeric pagers with local phone numbers. This Request for Information is to procure the best-valued package from your company on the various wireless telecommunications and paging services that can be provided to 27 key personnel at the 180th Fighter Wing, Swanton, Ohio. Coverage for the 5 alpha-numeric pagers should cover the Continental United States and have global capability. These 5 pagers should at a minimum contain the following features: minimum 2 line 40 character display; up to 20 message and 4 information slots; shows date/time; allows for message date/time stamping; message preview; built-in alarm clock; on/off programmable capability; up to 8 selectable alert signals; silent vibration; message locking; automatic backlighting; message saving whenturned off; battery gauge; 10000-30000 characters; internet, e-mail and voice mail capability. Coverage for the 22 numeric pagers should have minimal regional coverage within the Ohio/ Indiana/Michigan/ Kentucky/Pennsylvania states. These 22 pagers should at a minimum contain the following features: 15-20 message slots; variety of alert signals such as the standard beeps, silent vibration; flashing light indicator; message lock; saves messages when turn off; low battery alert and backlit display. All pager shall be Y2K compliant. Vendors replying to this notice should be loaded into the Central Contractor Registration Department of Defense database and maintain an office within the Toledo, Ohio area.
