Postal Service intends to issue a fixed price contract for the construction of a phased expansion with renovations of the existing Stamford Processing & Distribution Center on a USPS-owned site located at 427 West Avenue in Stamford, Connecticut. The project includes various improvements and modifications to the existing building and site, including rock removal, relocation of existing storm water utilities, ground level expansion (approximately 58,600 s.f.), new mechanical mezzanine (approximately 4,600 s.f.), and renovation of portions of the existing facility. The entire project must be planned, coordinated, phased and executed to minimize disruption of and interference with ongoing postal operations. Technical Qualifications Evaluation is based on a 100-point total (Experience -- 40, Past Performance -- 30, Organization -- 25, and Backlog -- 5), and Management Plan Evaluation is based on a 75-point total (Construction -- 30 points, Project Management -- 20 points, Schedule -- 15 points, and Procurement -- 10 points).
