The work includes renovation of existing buildings, fencing, gates, exterior lighting, security system, CCTV cameras, a personal duress alarm system, a perimeter detection system, replacement of the fire alarm system and additions to the intercom system. The work involves construction within a high security detention facility. A pre-proposal site visit will be held -- date is expected to be May 25, 1999, but will be specified in the Request for Proposals. The Government's estimate of the magnitude of this project is between $1 million -- $5 million.
