Breidenbach Environmental Research Center, 26 W. Martin Luther King Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio. Under this project, the existing fire alarm system will be modified to bring it into compliance with ADA requirements and the latest revision of the Basic Building Code. Work will include removing the existing bells and manual pull station fire alarm devices and installing a new speaker/visual fire alarm system with addressable manual pull stations, smoke detectors and fire protection alarm devices. The audible/visual system and manual pull stations shall be ADA compliant. The existing central fire alarm panel and remote monitoring sites will remain. The system will be upgraded to a speaker notification system and additional transponders will be installed. The anticipated contract performance period is 7 months after receipt of notice to proceed. The estimated price range is between $400,000 and $500,000. There will be no charge for solicitation documents.
