McNeley, Contracting Officer PROCUREMENT NOTICE -- The Synopsis published on 9 April 1999 -- SUBMISSION NO. 318181 is modified as follows: Plans and specification for N68711-98-B-3173 will be issued on or about 6 May 1999 over the Internet at http://www.efdswest.navfac.navy.mil/pages/esbroot as an Electronic Bid Solicitation (EBS). The response time required by FAR 5.203 would begin on the date of issuance of the EBS solicitation. EBS solicitation packages may be acquired by registration and download at the Internet EBS Web Site. All prospective offerors must register as plan holders on the EBS Web Site for this project. Contractors are also required to be registered on the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.dlsc.dls.mil. Plan centers are also required to register. Plan holder lists will not be faxed and will only be available at http://www.efdswest.navfac.navy.mil/pages/esbsroot. The Official Plan Holders list will be maintained on and can be printed from the Internet site. All requests for specifications must include (1) complete solicitation number and project title and (2) name, address, and phone number of company. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This is a Firm Fixed-Price Contract. PROVIDE MISCELLANEOUS PAVING. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision required for depth asphalt patch, hot pour asphalt crack repair, grind in place asphalt concrete and new 2" overlay and related work including cleanup. In addition, provide and install a grated drainage system per plans and details. Performance time is 60 calendar days. Potential bidders should request IFB N68711-98-B-3173 through the internet after publication of the Procurement Notice in the CBD. The SIC Code is 1611. The related small business size standard is $17.0 Million. This is a Firm Fixed Price contract. The estimated cost range is between $250,00.00 and $500,000.00.
