Stone must come from GA DOT certified quarry. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation identified as 8-3-99-25 is issued as a Request for Quotations. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and no written solicitation will be issued. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: Line Item 01 -- 4000 tons #57 stone, hauled and tailgate spread. Line Item 02 -- 1000 tons GAB stone, hauled and tailgate spread. DELIVERY: Deliveries are to be made beginning July 1999. Exact directions to project location to be given after award.
