Provide all labor, materials, and equipment to construct a new 2900 sq. ft. covered moorings building, reconfiguration of existing floats including an extension of the debris wall and renovation to the existing covered moorings at the USCG Station Cape Disappointment, Ilwaco, WA. The work includes steel and timber pile driving, submerged pile removal, concrete placement inside the hollow steel piles, concrete float fabrication and installation, structural steel fabrication, aluminum roofing and siding, mechanical and electrical new and relocated installations. Also wood and steel framing, finish carpentry and gypsum wallboard. There is limited asbestos and lead paint abatement. In-water work is not allowed from 15 March through 14 July; pile driving is not allowed from 1 February through 14 August. Contract duration is 330 days from contrct award. Estimated price range for this contract is $1 million to $3 million. There is a NON-REFUNDABLE charge of $20 for each set of plans and specifications. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 17 May 1999 and must be ordered in writing.
