Comfort, Contract Specialist, (202)324-8803 The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with ETI Engineering, 112 Elden Street, Herndon, VA 20170 under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) for an upgrade to the existing Telemonitor M5. The procurement includes 3 each of the Telemonitor M5 Status Software and 21 each of the V.90 Upgrade for Telemonitor M5 Enhanced. This software must be compatible with current system. ETI Engineering is the only known source that can provide an upgrade to FBI existing Telemonitor M5 System. There is no other known source that is licensed to sell or maintain this system. No solicitation package will be issued. The anticipated award date of the contract is May 18, 1999.
