99 -- HIV-1 LOW SENSITIVITY PROFICIENCY PANELS SOL 1999C00122 DUE 053099 POC Grace White, Contract Specialist, (770) 488-2699 The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, National Center for Environmental Health, intends to place a sole source purchase order with Boston Biomedica, Inc. for the replication and delivery of 30 sets of HIV-1 Low Sensitivity Proficiency Panels. Each set is to be replicated 30 times. Each panel consists of eight (8) blood product specimen vials. Deliver is to be F.O.B. Destination within 90 days after issuance of an order. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Interested firms have 25 days from the publication of this synopsis to submit in writing their qualifications/capabilities. Such qualifications/capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after the 25 days or without the required information will be deemed nonresponsive to the synopsis and will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to conduct a competitive procurement based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
