Angello, (727) 398-9336 The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Bay Pines, Florida intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Micromedex, Inc., Dayton, Ohio for the consolidation of software currently being used by VA Medical Centers in the Veterans Integrated Services Network 8 (VISN 8). This software will be installed on one (1) server allowing all VA Medical Centers to access such software via the VA's Intranet. Contract will be for a period of one (1) year with the Government having the option to extend for four (4) additional years. All responses from responsible sources will be considered. Responses must include sufficient information to allow this office to evaluate the possibility of your firm to submit a valid proposal. The determination to open competition based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published.
