Kesecker, 304/263-0811, ext. 3233 The VA Medical Center, Martinsburg, WV is seeking a qualified, responsible firm with the capability and capacity for furnishing all necessary labor, materials, engineering, tools and equipment required to perform repairs and alterations, including new components, for existing Government-owned elevators located in Building 500. The elevators included are P-2, P3, and S-4, S-5, S-6, S-7. The successful offer shall also be required to provide extended warranty services on each elevator for a period of two (2) years after final acceptance of repairs and alterations to the total number of elevators. Two option years for elevator inspection and maintenance services are also included in the solicitation. A formal technical evaluation of proposals will be conducted by the Government and award will be made to the offer whose proposal contains the best overall value to the Government. SIC Code 8999, cost range is between $500,000-$1,000,000. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price service contracton or about 070199, issuance on or about 060199.
