This is a re-advertisement of a previous project, same title, previously identified as DACW33-98-B-0013 which was postponed in July 1998. Firms who received the previous solicitation will automatically receive the revised specification for work identified herein. The scope of the work consists of constructing shoreline protection along the East Shore and wrapping around the North end of the island approximately 1000 LF. The protection will be a revetment consisting of armor stone, compacted stone, bedding stone fill, granular bedding, and reuse of existing cobbles at the toe. Work also includes the installation of a protective type geocell slope membrane material, with loam and seed for the upper slope protection. The estimated cost of this work is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. Work shall be completed within 225 calendar days after receipt of a notice to proceed. Firms who did not order the previous solicitation in 1998 may order this solcitation at a cost of $60.00 per set.
