Solicitation Notice: The Contractor shall furnish labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the old medium temperature hot water line replacement project at the Federal Correctional Institution Otisville in Otisville, New York. This project shall include, but not be limited to, the following: removal of approximately 5,000 lf of existing medium temperature hot water line which consists of steel piping within an insulated jacket sleeve; complete installation of a new water line (approximately 5,000 lf) including valve fittings, flanges and other work necessary for a complete installation; complete all concrete, masonry and bituminous paving penetrations, removals and replacements for the new lines; complete all repairs necessary for the installation of a new line. All work shall be done in accordance with the specifications and drawings and will involve work inside and outside the double security fence. The period of performance for this project will be 120 calendar days. This project is unrestricted, open to both large and small business concerns.
