The Army requires a contract to replace floor tile in Bldg. 1021 at Hunter AAF, GA. The work includes, but is not necessarily restricted to, the following: Remove quarter round shoe mold and provide and install plywood underlayment; remove all restroom water closets and drinking fountains; adjust plumbing to receive new floor elevation; remove toilet partitions; reinstall existing fixtures after tile is in place; move furniture out of the way for installation and reinstall after completion; provide and install vinyl composition tile, feature strips, and accessories; undercut all wood doors as required; provide and install new metal thresholds at exterior doors; provide and install new painted quarter round shoe mold; after installation of tile floor and subsequent cleaning, floor wax shall be applied and polished. This project is solicited as an Emerging Small Business Set-Aside under SIC 1752. The magnitude of this project is less than $25,000. Work is expected to be completed within 60 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed.
