Amendment 0001 is issued to the above combined synopsis/solicitation for roofing materials for delivery to Federal Correctional Institution, Sheridan, Oregon. This amendment is issued in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only amendment of the above solicitation, offers are being requested, and a written amendment will not be issued. THE FOLLOWING CLARIFICATION IS MADE TO THE SOLICITATION: The color, Redi-mix red, is a brick red color. In accordance with the solicitation, an equal product (color) will be considered for award. Submission of a color other than "Redi-mix red" will not disqualify an offeror from consideration for award. Submit a color chip or sample with your offer. AMENDMENT ACKNOWLEDGMENT: Offers must acknowledge receipt of this amendment before the hour and date specified in the synopsis/solicitation. Failure of this acknowledgment to accompany the offer may result in rejection of your offer. If as a result of this amendment you desire to change an offer already submitted, such change may be made by letter. The letter must refer to the solicitation and this amendment, and be received before offers are due. The synopsis/solicitation RFQ 230-0022-9 is amended as indicated as above.
