NASA/JSC plans to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a substation Recloser, 14.4/24.9 KV, pad mounted, dead front and a Switch, pad mounted, 14.4/24.9 KV, both require MSDS. This is for the high voltage well road feeder at White Sands Test Facility (WSTF), Las Cruces, New Mexico. There are specifications that will be included in the solicitation package. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 26. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The SIC Code and Size Standard are 5063 and 100, respectively. The DPAS Rating for this procurment is DO-C9. The anticipated release date of RFQ9-WSRE-W11-9-53Q is on or about May 21, 1999 with an anticipated quote due date of on or about June 20, 1999.
