A/E to provide professional services to renovate Building 14 at the VA Maryland Health Care System Baltimore Rehabilitation and Extended Care Center, from an unoccupied small animal research facility to a medical imaging support facility, consisting of approximately 3,500 square feet, to include a general purpose radiographic room. The work will include site survey to verify existing conditions, demolition of existing walls and electrical and mechanical systems, patching and repairing of roof penetrations, site prep for imaging equipment, new HVAC systems, improvement to existing floor slab and architectural improvements to building exterior and interior. The construction cost is estimated at $705,000. A/E firms which meet the requirements described in this announcement are invited to submit a completed SF 254, "Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire" and SF 255, "Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire for Specific Project."
