WASHINGTON DC AREA SOL DACW31-99-R-0056 DUE 052199 POC Contract
Specialist, Joseph Neil (410)962-5611 Provide move services for the
relocation of approximately 1,000 Department of Army personnel in the
Washington DC area. Services may include excessing furniture,
specialized packing, facility protection, planning and move management,
and clean up services. Some disassembly and reassembly of furniture may
be required. Contractor will provide all equipment, materials, and
qualified personnel to successfully complete the move. This procurement
is unrestricted. The SIC code is 4214. The total estimated cost is not
to exceed $1,000,000.00. The contract will be a one year base contract
with a one year option and a clause to extend for up to 6 months. All
resonsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. The
Government does not intend to hold discussions. Evaluation factors for
this acquisition are set forth below in decending order of importance:
1. Experience/Past Performance, 2. Resources Allocation, 3. Management
Approach and Comprehension of Requirement, 4. Subcontracting
Requirements. In order to comply with the Debt Collection Improvement
Act of 1996, effective 31 May 1998, all contractors must be registered
in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for

Small Business, 15% for Small Disadvantaged Business and 8% for Women
Owned Small Businesses to include Historically Black Colleges and
Universities, Minority Institutions. A Subcontracting Plan in not
required to be submitted with your proposal, but is required prior to
award of a contract if the offeror is a large business concern. Request
