These materials are being procured to be used in the Engineering Development Model (EDM) for the MK 160 MOD 9 and MOD 10 Gun ComputingSystem (GCS) which supports the Weapon Control Systems Branch. The SCRAMNet Network Card provides deterministic, low-latency data connectivity between the MK 160 GCS and the MK 45 Gun Mount. The quad switch allows switching between primary and alternate data paths. Systran's SCRAMNet Network Card is the only one which meets the requirements and keeps compatibility with software developed for the current MK 160 MOD 8 GCS. The SCRAMNet Network Card is required for the design phase of the MK 160 GCS MOD 9 and 10 and is required for any further development.
