This is a request for submission of Standard Forms 254 and 255, it is not a Request for Proposals (RFP). The National Cemetery Administration has a requirement for an Architect-Engineer firm to design the expansion of Eagle Point National Cemetery (Project No. 906CM3007), 2763 Riley Road, Eagle Point, OR 97524-9677. The project includes the design and all related professional services for typical cemetery development including roads, gravesite layout and irrigation. Services consist of topographic survey, the preparation of schematic and design development drawings with a Government option to enter into construction documents, specifications, construction period services and construction inspection services. The estimated cost of construction is between $1 million and $5 million. Consideration will be limited to firms licensed to practice in the State of Oregon and located within 500 miles of Eagle Point National Cemetery. Emphasis will be placed on Civil Engineering capabilities of the firm and not onprevious cemetery or landscape design experience. Selection of firms to be interviewed will be based on the following evaluation factors: Firm's Capacity and Capability (50%); Proposed Project Team (25%); and Experience and Past Performance on similar site development work (25%). Firms may be interviewed using video teleconferencing method/procedures, at the option of the Government. Firms responding to this notice within thirty (30) calendar days of appearance in the published edition of the Commerce Business Daily, or June 7, 1999, whichever is later, will be considered. To be considered, submit Standard Forms 254 and 255 to the issuing office.
