The Social Security Administration (SSA), has a requirement for a contractor to furnish all necessary labor, material and equipment to accomplish the following: Process exposed master 105mm and 16mm computer output microfilm; Process exposed master 16mm fast speed document microfilm from scanner-cameras; Process exposed master 16mm speed document microfilm from rotary cameras; Duplicate microfilm; Daily pickup of exposed film and delivery of processed master and duplicate film to several SSA locations nationwide. Services shall begin September 1, 1999. The above services are for a base year and four one-year option periods, if exercised. This is a simplified acquisition under the test program for certain commercial items and a request for proposal number SSA-RFP-99-3890, is scheduled for release on or about May 27, 1999.
