Work consists of reconstructing three storm damaged sites, to include installing a 450-mm culvert; removing and patching asphalt; upgrading a 600-mm culvert with a 1200-mm culvert; replacing a damaged 450-mm culvert; removal and disposal of two 450-mm culverts; removal, disposal, and upgrading of a 900-mm culvert with a 1400-mm culvert; approximately 1140 cm of excavation; 680 cm of unsuitable excavation; and 180 cm of keyed riprap with 120 sm of geotextile. All three sites will require crushed aggregate from a commercial source. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about May 24, 1999, and contract time is approximately 120 calendar days. The successful quoter will be required to furnish payment protection in the amount of 50 percent of the total contract price.
