Acquisition Center-Natick Contracting Division has a requirement for
renovations (conversion of space into offices) of the Non-Commissioned
Officer's (NCO) Club (Building #38) at its Natick, Massachusetts
installation. The requirements for this effort are described as
follows: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and
equipment necessary for the renovation of Building #38 conversion from
its current configuration as the NCO club to office spaces. The
contractor shall be required to demolish concrete masonry unit (cmu)
and wood stud walls, doors, a service bar, cabinets, paneling and
furring, flooring, plumbing fixtures and piping, steam convectors and
piping, light fixtures, receptacles, wiring and shall be required to
install all necessary metal stud and gypsum wallboard walls, metal
furring and ceilings, suspended ceiling systems, doors, frames, and
hardware, windows, carpets, floor and wall tile, painting, a hydronic
boiler, hot water coils and piping, ductwork, exhaust fans, plumbing
fixtures and bathroom accessories, electrical receptacles and light
fixtures, telephone jacks, and local area network data jacks. The
contractor shall be required to perform the work in accordance with
Drawing No. FE-4-99 and the Technical Specifications (available on our
website, see below). The contractor shall possess all Federal, State
and Local licenses/permits/certifications that would be required to
perform all required services and shall comply with all Federal, State,
and Local regulations, codes and statutes in the performance of this
work. The Standard Industrial Code for this procurement is 1542. The
Small Business Size is $17.0 million. This procurement is 100%
set-aside for Small Business Concerns. The Government envisions the use
of a Firm Fixed Price contract consisting of a Contract Line Item
Number (CLIN) for the Base Work and an eight (8) Option CLINs for
additional requirements consistent with the required base CLIN.
Offeror's are required to conduct a Site Visit prior to submission of
an offer. Drawings will also be available at Site Visits. This
requirement is subject to the Bacon-Davis Act. Copies of the
