The Navy requires surface preparation and powder coating for a quantity of 576 each with an option quantity of 100 each TR-343 tube assemblies which are an integral part of the AN/SQQ-89 Sonar System. This System is used on the Arleigh Burke class destroyers. This requirement is being solicited on a sole-source basis from Automatic Coating Limited, 1232 Birchmount Road, Scarborough, Ontario, Canada M1P2C-3 due to the powder coating requirement of the assemblies; i.e., Corvel Blue E20 Vibra Flow 17-5002 is required based on certification requirements of this procurement. Delivery is F.O.B. Crane for an initial quantity of 180 each not later than 15 Aug 1999. Additional quantity delivery timeframes to be determined. It is anticipated that a fixed priced purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and that no formal Request for Quote will be issued. The total Small Business Set-Aside has been dissolved in accordance with FAR 13.106-2.
