Two Complete draft tube gates for the Elephant Butte Dam, Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. Gates will be fabricated with all new aluminum materials. Aluminum structural members shall be type 6061-T6 (ASTH-B-308). Plate shall be type 6061-T651 (ASTH-B-308). Gates will be of all welded construction unless other wise specifically stated in the specification. Due to the 4 inch channels having to seal against water pressure, warpage must be kept to a minimum. The channels must not have more than .060 inches variance in height on the sealing surface between any two points. This will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures.
