This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) R6-16-99-7003 is the solicitation number. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11. Existing system is a Northern Telecom Meridian 1 telephone system consisting of -- Manufacturer: Northern Telecom (NORTEL); Model: Option 21c (previously upgraded from SL-1); Current software/release: 1011, Release 17, Iss.76; Loop limit: 28; Cabinets: (1) QCA 109, 10 peripheral shelves and (1) NT8D11DC, with 1 peripheral shelf; Power: DC, -48 volts; Voice Mail: None. Item 2, Furnish and install integrated Meridian Mail 8-Port voice mail system $_________. Technical Specifications/Requirements -- Voice Mail: MM EC Opt 4-24 port; Module side cover; MM Exp Storage SW Level 1-2; Meridain Mail Release 12 Base SW; 8 Port full service Voice Porcessing; MMail 12 Voice Messaging Package. Item 3, Maintenance Agreement for upgraded PBX and voice mail system for one year $________. Maintenance Requirements: Repair of all defective hardware and software relating to upgraded Option 61c sent to the manufacturer by the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest; access to Nortel technical support facilities through Vendor's technical support facilities; on-site service support by Vendor's personnel trained on Northern Telecom (NORTEL) equipment on an as-requested basis; response time for above provisions as follows: Repair and return of equipment: 4 weeks; Response time for on-site technician: 8 hours; Response time for technical support: 2 hours. Equipment is located at the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest Headquarters located in the David J. Wheeler Federal Building, 2nd Floor Computer Room, 1550 Dewey Avenue, Baker City, OR. (v) Delivery shall be during the work week between 7AM and 5PM. Date for starting work is approximately May 31, 1999 and all work shall be completed within 5 working days.
