for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart
12.6 of the FAR, as supplemented with additional information included
in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation;
proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be
issued. The solicitation document and incorporated clauses are those in
effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-37. The Office of Naval
Intelligence has a requirement to procure a high-speed digital
switching matrix with the following minimum salient characteristics: --
Sixteen inputs, each 16-bit differential ECL + clock to support greater
than 100MHz operations -- Sixteen outputs, each 16-bit differential ECL
+ clock to support greater than 100MHz operations -- Completely
non-blocking crossbar switch, any input can be routed to any number of
outputs -- Programmable clock parity on all inputs and outputs --
Greater than 100 Million 16-bit words per second operation—Bit
error rate tester, using internal or external clocks -- Standard 19"
rack mount chassis, no greater than 24" deep -- Universal power supply
(110 or 220VAC) -- Front panel control with display and keypad or
keyboard -- RS-232 remote control -- IEEE-488 remote control -- All
programmable feature can be controlled from each interface --
Non-volatile memory to allow storage and recall of five complete switch
configurations -- Programmable features to include output channel
routings, input clock polarities, output clock polarities, input
channel names, output channel names, and BER tester clock rate --
Commercially available within 150 days ARO The FAR provisions at
